Shipdex™ is the International Business Rules (The Shipdex™ Protocol) developed to standardize the production and the exchange of technical and logistic data within the shipping community. The Shipdex™ Protocol applies to international specification S1000D™ at issue 2.3.

Shipdex™  Protocol will be presented to S1000D Community during the 2008 S1000D User Forum on October 21-23, 2008 at the Intercontinental Budapest in Hungary.

Hosted by the Air Transport Association (ATA), this year's event will be held in conjunction with the ATA e-Business Forum, providing the single, most comprehensive event dedicated to information exchange standards and technologies in the global aerospace and defence industry.
